This Art Nouveau style cinema is a Category-A Listed building and is the only one of its kind still in use in Scotland. Constructed in 1913, it was completely restored in 2017 and now features two screens, a fantastic, dog-friendly café and exhibition space. Check what’s on here.
Offering two all-weather courts, this friendly club welcomes visitors on a pay and play basis. You can book courts and hire rackets at Wee Toon Sports on Main Street in Campbeltown. More info here.
When the weather’s not playing ball, there’s plenty of fun to be had at the soft play for young children at Campbeltown Community Centre. Check here for opening times and directions.
Campbeltown Museum tells the story of Kintyre through a fascinating collection of archaeology, fine art, natural sciences, and social history. Highlights include a Bronze Age jet necklace, a seascape by William McTaggart, a reflector from the Mull of Kintyre lighthouse, and a swooping gannet. Entry is free and donations welcome.

Known as Jock’s Boat locally, this large playpark is situated right on Campbeltown Loch so you can soak in the views while the kids have fun. There’s picnic benches and plenty of seating. Directions here.
This is a fantastic smaller playpark within walking distance of the Holiday Park. There’s a great range of fun activities for kids including a pirate ship, a hammock, a slide and swings. Take the first left after the Ugadale Hotel and you’ll find it.
